Whole Health Veterinary Care

Your new partner in caring for the health and wellbeing of your pets.

Appointment Policy

We see clients predominantly by appointment and we schedule them with ample time for medical & surgical procedures. When urgent care and emergencies arise, we prioritize those pets ahead of scheduled appointments only when medically necessary. Unfortunately, this sometimes causes appointment delays. Please understand that we truly make a genuine effort to see each client on time, without delays. Please remember that, if it were your pet experiencing an emergency, you’d prefer to be seen immediately when medically necessary.

Please arrive at least five (5) minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for the check-in process. If you are running late for an appointment, please call the office to let us know. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we will do our best to work you back into the schedule later that day.

In following with our low stress/fear free philosophy, when possible, please leave children at home. Children can be overwhelming for many pets, especially when the pet is nervous or anxious about being at the veterinary office.

Patient Arrival Policy

We make every effort to provide our patients with a comfortable environment. Some pets can feel a little uneasy around new people, new surroundings, and other animals. This is one of the reasons we insist that all cats must arrive in an appropriate cat carrier and all dogs must be properly controlled with a leash while in the waiting area or exam rooms. We do not allow retractable leashes at the facility, please bring your pet with a standard leash.

If you have a pet that is typically nervous/anxious in the veterinary office, you can call the front desk from your car to let us know when you have arrived. If an exam room is not immediately available, you will be given the option to wait in the reception area (if it is unoccupied) or in your car. Should you elect to wait in your car, we will call you to let you know when we are ready for you to bring your pet inside and directly to the prepared exam room.

Handicapped Accessible Entrance

Our handicapped accessible entrance is on the north side of the building. Please call (301) 498-8387 when you arrive and we will open the secure door for you.
